| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, one held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Nov 18: Kathua Police arrested one bovine smuggler being involved in smuggling the bovine to Kashmir Valley without proper permission. However his associate has managed to flee from the spot and manhunt is on, police said
Police reports said the on specific information regarding the persons indulged in smuggling of Bovine from Punjab, further adding Police laid down Naka at village Kirpal (Kokhayal)and arrested one person namely Mohd Biru S/O Sayeed Mohd R/O Jarai with 16 Bovine taking them to Srinagar illegally.
However his associate Wali Mohd @ Billu S/O Mir Ali R/O Kerian managed to escape. A case FIR No. 431/11 U/S 188 RPC stands registered at P/S Kathua against accused persons.
