| 2 gamblers held with bet money | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Samba, Nov 18: In a special drive launched against gamblers in district Samba, police today arrested two gamblers alongwith the bet money, police said.
Following a specific information a police party conducted raid at Arazi, Samba and nabbed two gamblers with bet money worth Rs. 5700/- and playing cards from the spot, police said.
Police spokesperson said that the accused have been identified as Deepak Kumar Prajapati s/o Hari Lal r/o Madhya Pradesh and Shiv Prasad s/o Bihari Lal r/o Madhya Pradesh, the duo presently residing at Kehli Mandi, Samba. The duo have been booked u/s Gambling Act.
