J&K bags 14 medals in sub-junior kickboxing nationals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 18: J&K bagged 14 medals including 4 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze in the 16th Sub-Junior National Championship, which was held from November 10 to 13 at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Those who clinched gold included Sahil Tratha, Sahil Chaudhary, Rajat Charak (All Jammu) and Amit Sharma (Rajouri), while those who bagged silver included Surya Charak, Daksh Abrol, Muzamil (All Jammu) and Vishender Singh (Rajouri). The bronze medal winners included Gurmohit (Jammu), Kunal Singh (Jammu), Munaquib (Bandipora), Abhishek Raina, Robin Singh and Vikram Singh (All Rajouri), Arun Singh, Charan Singh and Jamsheed Khan accompanied the team as coaches and managers. The Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters, S Owais (president), I G Traffic, H K Lohia (Sr vice-president) and Ranjeet Kalra (vice-president) also congratulated the team for this outstanding performance at the National level. Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal also congratulated the team and the office bearers of the Association for this fabulous show. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Handoo, the General Secretary of the Association said that the Secretary has assured all possible support and assistance from J&K state Sports council for this combat sports discipline.
