| Nitin shines in Shiv Nath T20 tourney | | |  early times report
JAMMU, Nov 18: Bowling all-rounder Nitin Mehra excelled in the All India Shiv Nath Memorial T20 Tournament held at Ballia in Uttar Pradesh from November 4 to November 14.
Nitin clinched the best bowler of the tournament award by bagging highest 10 wickets in the four games J&K played including semifinals, with 2 wickets against Orissa, three against Delhi, four against Haryana and one against Uttar Pradesh. Nitin received a cash prize of Rs 2500 along with a memento from the organisers for his fabulous display of bowling skills.
It may be recalled that J&K team, which was sponsored by Kashyap Sports Club, got third place in this tournament and lost to hosts Uttar Pradesh in the semifinals.
