| Encroachment at Keerian Graveyard removed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Nov 18: On the directions of District Development Commissioner, Kathua Ms Zahida Khan a team led by Tehsildar Kathua, SHO Lakhanpur and other revenue officials removed encroachment on Kabristan at Keerian here at Kathua today. Responding to the complaint made by the people of the area before the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua about the illegal encroachment on the Kabristan Sarkar land by some people.
The team immediately removed concrete structure and also demarcated the Kabristan land. During the course to evict the encroachment on the government land it came into the light of the team that the adjoining 200 Kanals of government land in the village is also illegally occupied by the people for which the team also identified and demarcated the government land as per record. The team also issued strict warning to the people who encroach the government land. They asked the Panchs and Sarpanchs to remain vigil that no government property is misused and illegal occupied and if any case come into light same should be reported to the administration at an earliest. Patwari and Girdawar of the halqa also accompanied the team which removed encroachment from the graveyard.
