Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation held meet | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, November 18: A meeting of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation was held under the chairmanship of Bhushan Verma State President and Maheshwar Parsad Sharma Convener of the Federation and all the district Presidents and senior members of the federation participated in the meeting. The Present position of the meeting were discussed and felt satisfaction over the working in Jammu province and all the members stressed open to strengthen the federation in Kashmir and Ladakh division. It was further discussed in detail the problems being faced by the teachers in the rural areas which include any teacher should not be involved in non teaching work in views of the shortage of staff in schools especially in rural area , promotee’s be adjusted in needy area and past practice to adjust newly promote in Jammu city be stopped , vacant posts of Master lying vacant in old area of Jammu district are filled after so many years is appreciable but vacant posts in other district be filled with new promotion for the smooth functioning and good performance of the government schools , vacant posts of teachers in thousands be filled on adhoc basis , speical grants from SSA and RMSA be provided to school for the improvement of poor condition of infrastructure in government schools and examination system be changed/improved to stop the unfair means and supervisor duties be given in rotation. Others who attended the meeting are Pardeep Kumar (Provincial President), Hadeep Singh, Raj Kumar, Kuldeep Sharma, Ranvir Singh, Mohd Qasim Malik (Vice President Rajouri), Rakesh Kumar (Distt. President Doda), Shamsher Singh, Ramesh Verma, Lekh Raj Sharma, Davinder Sharma and many others. |
