Jammu Polytechnic students held protest | | | Early Times Report JAMMU , November 18 : Today students of Govt. Polytechnic College Vikram Chowk, Jammu held a massive protest demonstration under the banner of National Panthers Students Union (NPSU). Theprotest was against the discriminatory treatment doled out to Jammu region youth in the matter of selections for various posts in J&K Bank and new recruitment policy of the J&K government. All the students of the college gathered at the college main gate. The protest was led by Yogesh Singh, Rajveer Singh and Surjeet phonsa. Students also raised slogans. On the occasion Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial President NPSU) alleged that the large scale irregularities and fraud being committed by the J&K Bank in making selection at various level including financial Executives, Res, Banking assocatiates, clerk and class IV. They alleged that J&K bank was neither following the prescribed processor for selection nor was it publishing any selection list in a bid to conceal its illegal unconstitutional doings as well as it bias against Jammu region in the matter of various selection shouting slogans against the J&K bank authorities. They demanded a probe into all selection made by the J&K bank during the last four five years. . Jamwal said that on one hand MLA’s and ministers of the state hiked their salaries almost double during last assembly session in Jammu unanimously through a still introduce in assembly and on the other they are mentally harassing the youth and students of J&K by bringing such new recruitment policy in the J&K state.
