Immediate restoration of transport service demanded | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 19: A meeting of J&K Milchar Front was held under the chairmanship of S N Saproo, president of the Front in which the transport minister was urged to immediately restore the transport service from Laxmipuram to KC crossing. The mini bus service from KC crossing to Laxmipuram/Chinore-Bantalab was sanctioned after a month trial by then SSP traffic SA Watali, Anil Chopra, chairman Mini Bus Transports Jammu and Kewal Krishen ARTO, Jammu on the instruction of the Transport Minister, Mangat Ram Sharma and three mini buses were sanctioned from Bantalab route from March,2005 but from Oct,2007 the mini buses were being changed day by day and now the mini buses are not plying at all, due to which the public of the area are suffering a lot. They appealed to Transport Minister & RTO, Jammu to restore the transport service from Laxmipuram-Chinore in circular way to KC crossing immediately so that the people in general & the school & college going children in particular of the area can get transport convenience. The meeting was attended by Sukh Dev Singh Sarpanch K.K.Rao, R.L.Raina, Chain Singh Chib, Puran Chand, Kalyan Singh Chib, Paiyar Singh, O.P.Kotwal, Punjab Singh, M.K.Bhan, Sunil Raina, P.K.Raina, Joginer Thapa among others.
