Political workers in south Kashmir join PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Nov 19: At least 17 political workers from National Conference (NC), Congress and Bhartiya Janta Party, joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday in south Kashmir’s Kokernag, according to a party statement. Welcoming the workers to the party, the PDP MLC Kokernag, Nizam-ud-din Khatana, expressed gratitude to new entrants for showing confidence in the ideology of PDP and its resolve to chart out a path of change. The party leaders on the occasion appealed the workers to work for the empowerment of people and root out the menace of corruption from society. The leaders condemned the rampant corruption in the state at all levels. The leaders also condemned the recent solar light procurement scandal in the Kokernag which has left the people and the party shocked.
