| Extension Lecture in Punjabi delivered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 19:The Language club of GCW Parade Jammu here today organized an
extension lecture on “Punjabi Bhasha Da Dhuni Vigyanak Adhyan” which
was delivered by Dr. Updesh Kour, Head of Punjabi Department,
University of Jammu.
Dr Kour divulged on the utility of tones and symbols in the
development of Punjabi language.
On this Occasion, Dr. KIran Bakshi Principal of the College was the
Chief Guest and communicated the students about the importance of
understanding the scientific basis of the languages, so as to
understand the true emotions hidden in the writings of a writer. Dr
Snober H.O.D Punjabi, GCW Parade welcomed the dignitaries present.
The lecture concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Sunita Sudan,
Convener of the Language Club.
