| Armed police IRP 3rd Battalion organized road march | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , November 19 : As a sequel to regular feature of Armed Police IRP 3rd Battalion organized a Road March from Bn. Headquarters to Bahu Fort near Mohu Maya Mandir Jammu. The Road march was flagged off by Commandant IRP III Bn. Jammu. Approximately 177 officials including GOs of the Bn took part in the road march stretched over 07 kms.
As a welfare measure an open Darbar of the Jawans was also held by the Commandant IRP III Bn. Jammu to have a direct interaction with Jawans.
The basic concept of the Road march is to have assess of physical fitness of the Jawans and exploration of geographical aspect of the area. It also provide a free atmosphere away from routine duty to interact with Jawans and senior officers.
