Poonch Nov 19: MLA Haveli Ajaz Ahmed Jan laid the foundation stone of Panchayat Ghar Lohil Bela Panchayat Ghar being constructed at the estimated cost of Rs. 20. Lacs.
MLA addressed series of public meetings and also interacted with the people who raised various problems being faced by them including Electricity Connection, Laying of Water Reservoir Tanks, Extension Counter of Ration Depot at Maharkote Barrachar. Prominent among those who joined National Conference Ch Mohd Sadiq, Shabir Ahmed, Mohd Hanief, Ch Mohd Sharief, Mohd Sakhi & Ahmed Din.
People in these remote areas demanded the Regularization of P.H.E Linemen engaged on need basis by the Department for the last 10 Years.
MLA during his tour highlighted the Sher-e-Kashmir Employment Policy and asked the unemployed youth to take benefit of the scheme. The people during their interaction with MLA Haveli strongly demanded Anganwari Centers for un-covered areas. MLA accompanied with Rakesh Dubey BDO Mandi inspected developmental works of MGNREGA, MLA (CDS) .
MLA Haveli also sanctioned Rs.3.00 lacs for purchase of L.D Wire out of CDF Funds. |
