| Inter school patriotic group song competition held | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 19: Inter school patriotic group song competition was held at Lawrence
Public School, Pantirthi in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family to mark the birth anniversary of Lt. Smt. Indira Gandhi.
Rich tributes were paid by the students, teachers & other guests of the participating schools before the start of the competition.
Different groups of various schools performed in front of the judges & the audience.
Suriender Manhas (music composer,singer), Yash Pal Yash (music composer, lyricist) S. Kumar (art director) judged the performing groups during this competition.
Students of Dogra Hr Sec school were declared the first prize winners, S.D Tara Puri School bagged the second prize where as New Era School bagged the third prize.
After the declaration of the results, Yash Pal Yash (music composer, lyricist) gave tips to the students to improvise their singing talent further.
Later the students were presented the awards by the chairman, Lawrence Public School, Wg Cdr. M.M Joshi.
He appreciated the performing students for their voice stimulation & coordination.
He thanked Gandhi Global Family & the judges for encouraging the students.
