| What happened in 1947 in terms of the partition of the Indian nation was the "Great Game" to restrict the civilisational moorings of the Sanskrit Indian nation so that its rise is hindered and to a larger extent its fate is sealed forever on to benefit the Anglo-Muslim alliance. The result was the creation of the Muslim state of Pakistan that catered to the separatist and theo-fascist designs of the Muslim League led by Mohammad Ali Jinnah. British had the tacit understanding with the Muslim communal politics of that time as it suited them to keep their feet on the Indian soil even after the retreat of the British Raj. It was a calculated ploy on the part of the retreating colonizers as it helped them to leave behind a proxy in terms of the Muslim state of Pakistan to put breaks on the rise of the Sanskrit Indian nationhood rooted in the soil of India.
Issue of Jammu and Kashmir is the outcome this "Great Game" to hold India hostage to the Muslim communal politics. The creation of the Muslim state of Pakistan only emboldened the elements who vouch for the balkanization of India as they seek their inspiration from the British sponsored and Congress blessed partition of India in 1947.
This premise has motivated the post partition anti national politics in India. And the result is the conflict in the state of Jammu and Kashmir where Muslim separatists seek inspiration from the partition politics of the Muslim League of 1947 and hold the non-Muslim minorities in the state as hostage and squeeze as much as possible from the Indian state, which can be termed as political blackmail. As Indian state is made to believe that being a Muslim majority state Jammu and Kashmir should be handled as separate sphere of Muslim influence which can remain in the geographical ambit of India but not in its political ambit. And if this condition is not adhered to then there is not even the scope for the state to be in the geographical ambit of the Indian nation as well.
Irony is that the Indian state has fallen in this trap of Muslim communalism and accepted the conditions imposed by the theo fascist communal Muslim politics without realizing its impact on the pluralist and democratic status of the Indian nation as enshrined in the constitution.
By co opting the secessionist and Muslim communal politics of all forms with a belief that the concession to them will solve the problem of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir is like groping in the dark. As it gives leverage to the jihadist operators to manipulate the policy premise of the Indian state as it suits them and takes the Indian nation on the path of balkanization.
It affects the non-Muslim minorities who become the victims of this policy which ultimately shrinks the nationalist space in the state and allows the separatist tendencies whether in the political mainstream or the militants to reap its harvest in terms of consolidating their communal hold, using every opportunity to throw out the non - Muslim minorities out of their habitat in terms of ethnic cleansing and genocide. That is what has happened since 1947 when Pakistani army in the garb of tribal raiders launched an all out invasion and assault on the non -Muslim Hindu and Sikh minorities of the now POK and rendered them homeless. They are waiting for justice till now. This invasion did not stop here, the ethnic cleansing of the Kashmiri Pandits from their ancestral homeland Kashmir in 1990 -clearly explains that the Indian state failed to learn the bitter lessons and never went for course correction, leave alone to deliver justice to the POK refugees of 1947 and the Kashmiri Pandit refugees of 1990!
The Indian state needs to devise its policy by keeping in view that what is happening in Jammu and Kashmir since 1947 till date is not a law and order problem or administrative problem, it is a civilisational war that is being fought by the pan Islamic forces to dismantle the Northern frontiers of the Indian nation in the Himalayas and J&K, with an aim to de-sanskritise the Himalayas so that the pockets of theo fascist Islamists are created to suit the Muslim Ummah and achieve what was not even achieved by the Muslim state of Pakistan. If this is not understood by the policy makers of the Indian state then India is being drawn on the path of the second partition.
