| YBA organises blood grouping camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 19:Young Blood Association (YBA) in collaboration with Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu organized a free blood grouping camp at Vyas Plaza, Satwari Chowk here today.
Chairman Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology (ISBTI, J&K Chapter) Anil K Padha was the Chief Guest.
15 Volunteers from Young Blood Association and ITS Computers Satwari under the leadership of Vikash Sharma and Fonit Palia assisted the Red Cross team and the blood grouping tests were conducted by Surinder Vermani, Sr Tech assisted by Monika Sharma.
The people of the adjoining area availed the opportunity of free blood grouping camp and 104 persons got their blood group checked and were issued blood grouping cards. Young Blood Association audio cassette was also played on the occasion for general awareness regarding Voluntary Donation of blood. This was the 9th free blood grouping camp in the current year.
