146 Chinese mobile phone sets seized at Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 20: Police today seized 146 mobile phone sets from a shop at Kalibari in
Kathua whcih had been smuggled into the state from Punjab without paying sales tax
at Lakhanpur. Acting on a tip-off that Chinese mobile phone sets were being sold illegally by a
shopkeeper at Kalibari, police raided the shop and seized 146 pieces. The seized mobile phone sets had been smuggled into the state without paying sales
tax at Lakhanpur, police sources said. One person was arrested in this connection. He was identified as shop owner Rohin
Mahajan, son of Satish Mahajan of Madhopur, Punjab. Police had registered a case in this regard
