| Construction of Jamia Masjid’s new structure discussed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 20:A meeting of prominent Muslims of Jammu was summoned by Minister for Haj & Auqaf, Ajaz Ahmad Khan at his residence regarding the construction of new structure of Jamia Masjid Talab Khatikan Jammu, costing Rs 20 Crores.
In the meeting it was decided to recall the tender of the said project. The Minister stressed upon the Administrator Auqaf Islamia Jammu and Masjid Committee members to start the construction at an earliest.
Syed Shabir Ahmed Shah President MDF while addressing the meeting also put some important issues of public interest and the Minister assured that these issues will be looked into on priority basis.
Among others who attended the meetings were Haji Ghulam Hussain, President Management Committee Jamia Masjid Jammu, B A Rafiq Chairman “Muslim Welfare Trust, F A Tak, Saleem Khan, Retd Custodian.
