| All Religious Peace Conference organized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU , November 20 : One Day All Religious Peace Conference was organized by Muslim Jamaat Ahmadiyya J&K in which hundreds of people belonging to different religions/faiths/sects participated.
The programme was presided over by Moulana Zaheer Ahmad Khadim All India Secretary of Religious Affairs of Muslim Jamaat Ahmadiyya India.
The programme started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Moulana Wakil Niyaz.
A message from worldwide head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was read by Moulana Anayatullah in which worldwide head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat stressed for world peace which the today's world is desperately searching and leaders of religion can play an important role in restoring peace with in individual members in the society and the world at large.
The head in his message has hoped that time will come when such conferences will grow from inter-faith conferences to intra-faith conferences and leaders from different faiths speak not just about their own faith but highlight what has impressed the most through impartial study about the teachings of another faith on which they are made to speak.
The scholars of Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Christianity namely Sheikh Mujahid Ahmad Shastri, Dr Gian Singh, S. Narinder Singh and Biju Masih respectively highlighted the peace loving teachings of their respective religions.
In his presidential address Moulana Zaheer Ahmad Khadim called upon the religious leaders to impress upon the members to move towards the Creator because the main reason of turbulence and turmoil in the present world is that mankind has moved away from its Creator and there can be no peace till men returns to God and discharges the rights due to Gad and those due to His Creation.
He highlighted the saying of Holy Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon Him) that "Among the best of you who has the best Character" and thus called upon the Muslims to follow the teachings of Prophet of Islam (PBUH) so that Peace and Harmony prevails in the world..
Founder of the Jamaat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad stressed restoring the lost relationship between God and its creation and mutual fraternity among individuals .
In the field of Education Jamaat has contributed a lot at the International level Mohammad Zaffarullah Khan Judge of International Court of Justice, Prof. Abdus Salam Nobel Prize Winner and M M Ahmad a renowned Economist and Director of World Bank belong to his community.
Having, full faith in the tenets of Islam and teachings of Prophet Mohammad, (PBH) Ahmadiyya Muslim Community preaches the supremacy of humanity and considers the Humanity as the biggest religion.
