JAMMU, Nov 20:Kempo Federation of India today organized a meeting of its Board of Directors in Jammu to discuss various aspects about promotion of the Sports in country.
More than 12 representatives of various states were participated in the meeting. The participants discussed how to approach the Sports Ministry, Indian Olympic Association and School Game Federation of India to promote the game and seek sponsorships for events.
“The main aim of this meeting was to promote culture of safety among youths by help sports”, said Kamal Gupta, President, Kempo Federation of India.
The Federation also elects its office bearers for Jammu and Kashmir for next 4 year term. The newly elected body of Kempo Federation of Indian for Jammu and Kashmir state includes Prof BL Koul, President, Tarseem Sharma, General Sectary, Chander Shekhar (Media Secretary), Dr Ashutosh Shama, Munish Gupta, Rohit Takyal, Varinder Puri, Arun Sarwan, Khushby M Chapale, Ajay Kumar, Rajesh Verma, and others.
The meeting was presided by Kamal Gupta and Sushil Sharma.
