Subash Gupta visits Hiranagar tehsil | | | Early times Report KATHUA, November 20 : To listen to the grievance of the people and solve their problems at their doorsteps, the MLC Subash Gupta today visited Sehswan village in his constituency in Hiranagar tehsil. The people represent various areas highlighter their problems which mostly related to scarcity of drinking and irrigation water supply, road connectivity and lack of amenities. In a grievance camp at Sehswan, the people demanded play field, interrupted power supply in SC mohalla, lanes and drains, repair and renovation of pond, cutting and tailoring centre, widow pension, BPL ration, fresh BPL survey. Gujjar and Bakarwal also demanded for electric polls. While addressing the villagers of Sehswan MLC Subash Gupta appreciated the efforts of Welfare Committee of the village. He appreciated teacher (Retd.) Rashpal Singh for donation of 6 kanals of land for the play field. Interacting with the locals, the MLC said Government is committed to connect every corner of the state with nearest headquarter by providing road connectivity. Describing youth as future of the nation, MLC said country has high hopes from its younger generation and they have to play a bigger role in the process of nation building. He announced eight electric polls for Gujjar and Bakarwal Basti. Gupta asked the unemployed youth of the Sehswan area to take full benefits of various employment schemes like self help groups, handicraft, skill development besides large and small industries. Responding to the demands of the local Gupta announced one lakhs for the development of the area and also announced 63 KV transformer for Lohar Mohalla.
