NC silent over new recruitment policy, talks little about SKEWPY

Jammu, Nov 20: Leaders of National Conference (NC) have preferred discreet silence over the new recruitment policy, which Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described as landmark and a way toward self-reliance. National Conference (NC) today held a rally at Vijaypur in Samba district to appeal people to strengthen ideology of National Conference but did not make any mention of the new recruitment policy. They talked about Sher-e-Kashmir Employment Welfare Policy for Youth (SKEWPY) but made no mention of need for revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA).
They referred to SKEWPY but desisted from elaborating the issue further and also from asking youth to accept new employment policy. They highlighted developmental works but made no mention of any major initiative taken by the government in the last three years of its existence. They made a mention of innovative programmes and policies of the government apart from claiming that state has witnessed outstanding achievements during the three years on all fronts but gave no examples.
They highlighted developmental works initiated by the present government for socio-economic development of common masses in the state but preferred to leave the Pandora box of open. They talked about the focused attention of the coalition government to vital sectors like, PHE, Education, Power, PWD and Health but did not refer to the crisis situation which Jammu region had top bear during summer season.
Commoners are often heard saying that the regime h?? become a non-performing liability ?n? they are facing hardship due to it's wrong policies. They regret that instead of addressing basic problems of the people, NC government h?? b??n indulging into deceptive tactics t? befool commoners.
Pointing towards th? rampant corruption ?n th? state, commoners maintain that instead of taking ??m? effective steps t? control corruption ?n th? administration, NC regime h?? allegedly legalized corruption. Th?? point towards murder ?f NC worker Haji Yosuf and claim that it h?? exposed rampant corruption ?n th? government. They explain that institutions meant f?r curbing corruption h??? b??n m??? defunct b? th?? regime.
