| Dullo as caretaker cultural secretary welcomed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 21: Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society has welcomed the decision of State Government to appoint Atul Dullo as the care taker secretary of Academy of Art, Culture and languages.
In this connection a meeting of the executive members of the society was held today in which the member demanded that the suitable new secretary knowing the history, art, culture and languages of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladkh should be appointed.
The members also criticized the policy of former secretary Zafar Iqbal Manhas. They said that during the regime of Zafar Iqbal Manhas large number of mal-practices had been done. He had neglected the state’s official language Urdu. Beside some illegal persons has been appointed in various posts in the Academy of Art, Culture and languages.
The member demanded a high level enquiry against the former secretary Zafar Iqbal Manhas who had misused his position. The meeting was presided over by the society
president Shohab Inayat Malik. The member who were present on the occasion included Ravi Thakur, Sukhchain Singh, Quddose Javed, Mohd Reyaz Ahmed, A.R Manhas, Chaman Lal, Kewal Krishan and others
