EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 21: A three-day workshop for the preparation of entries of the Languages of Jammu & Kashmir for the People's Linguistic Survey of India project will be held at the P.G. Department of Punjabi of the University of Jammu on November, 23-25. The survey will be published by Bhasha Research and Publication Centre (A Centre of Excellence recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India). Entries will be prepared and finalized for Kashmiri, Dogri, Gojri, Punchi, Poguli, Kashtawari, Siraji, Shina, Burushaski, Sheikh Gal etc. Various linguists and language experts including Ganesh Devy, Omkar N Koul, R. K Bhat, Veena Gupta, Pritam Krishen Kaul, Updesh Kaur, Javaid Rahi, Musavir Ahmed, Rahila Maliq, Sanna Usman, Syed Irum, Humaira Khan and Sahan Niaz will participate in the workshop.
