| SABSC hailed for taking up SC/ST issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 21: JU SC/ST Employees Association today held its meeting to express its gratitude to State Advisory Board for SCs for discussing, intralia, its memorandum at its meeting which was held on Friday last and chaired by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Spokesperson of the Association stated that the JUSC/ST Association had submitted the memorandum of basic and genuine demands to the Vice-Chancellor Professor no action has been initiated on it.
Members also stated that the instructions issued to the University from time to time by the University Grants Commission for constitution of a Standing Committee for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, had too, not been adhered to.
