| MLA Mendhar assess problems being faced by border residents | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Mendhar, Nov 21: Former Minister and MLA Mendhar Sardar RafiqHussain Khan today assured to solve problems being faced by the residents of border block of Balakote of Mendhar.
Addressing a public meeting which was held at Beharooti village of Balakote block to MLA Mendher said that problems being faced by the border residents are being assessed. The MLA was accompanied by XEN PDD, AEE PHE, AEE PWD and Block development officer Balakote.
Locals thanked the MLA Mendhar for providing fund for electrification of left out un electrified villages in remote areas. MLA Mendhar has spent an amount of Rs 33 lacs for electrification of balakote area .
MLA mendhar after listening there problems directed concerned official s to initiate earlier process to minimize the problems of the border area peoples and also assured that he will take matter with CEO Poonch for the attachments of headmasters schools MS Gallotha and Ramlutha. He also announced that the water scheme has been sanctioned for the Bahrooti estimated a cost of Rs 2.50 cores, Manjhari sanctioned scheme estimated cost2.29 cores, Sangiote Water scheme sanctioned amount Rs 1.49 cores and Sandote Water Scheme sanctioned amount Rs 2.60crores in various water schemes of Balakote block.
In the meeting the Sarpanches namely Karmatullaha Khan, Shadam khan, Shabir khan, kursheed khan and Arif khan thanked MLA mendhar for starting projects of water schemes of different villages of Balakote block.
