PCC demands speedy developmental works of Mubarak Mandi

Jammu, Nov 21: Krishen Lal Abrol, Member Executive Committee Jammu and Kashmir Pardesh Congress Committee said that the developmental works of Mubarak Mandi Complex is going in a very slow space, and bringing of the Mubarak Mandi and its surrounding historical area on tourism map is quite delayed, since there is no development works going on in any manner, simply the assurances are being extended by the Government and Ministers concerned, which will not prove justification with regard to t he works and funds meant for the purpose.
Abrol said that the present delaying attitude of the Govt. with regard to development of Mubarak Mandi complex forces to adopt means and way of agitation.
Abrol said that shortly he will sit on Dharna within Mubarak Mandi Complex in support of t he demands which will continue till the works are not undertaken on war footings till completion of the complex and beautification of its surroundings.
In his address Abrol said that lakhs of pilgrimate to Mata Vaishnodevi visit Jammu, but unfortunately the Tourism Dev. Department is not providing any facilities to these Yatries to Mata Vaishnodevi under
Tourism Development Programme.
The main benefits of Tourism and brining the Jammu on Tourism map is to provide employment to the unemployed youths but due to negligence of the authorities no such steps are being taken which will provide relief to the unemployed youths under the Tourism Dev. programme, in the state Abrol further said that our main demand is that whatever the projects under Tourism Development have been undertaken needs to be completed well in time, whereas. Tawi Project, Bahu Fort Project, Mohmaya Project Peer Kho Project, beautification of old city Jammu are still underway and on papers. It is the need of the Jammuities to bring the Jammu on Tourism map.
He urged upon the Chief Minister, Jenab Omar Abdullah Sahib, to take personal interest in the projects, when these projects were cleared by the then Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahib, and now Union Minister for Health.
In his address he further added that in order to complete the projects of Jammu it is the inner desire of Jammuites that Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad may once again take and hold the reigns of Jammu and Kashmir State as its Chief Minister, so that the Jammu is given its due share and brought on the tourism map.
