CM’s close aides working to give ‘new outlook’ to his image | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 21: After hogging all the headlines and the adverse press over his persistent view point on partial revocation of the Armed Forces special powers act the image doctors of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah are working over time to recast his image as that of a responsible politician. To do the job the state government and the ruling party have roped in some close aides and senior leader of National Conference ‘specialist in their job’ to give new outlook to chief minister after due overhauling. The ruling party has already launched a campaign to spread awareness about the policies and programmes of the state government. On the other hand the chief minister secretariat is also working hard to organise series of 'awami mulakats' with the masses at the chief ministers official residence and else where to give an impression that he is focusing all his energies to carry forward the agenda of the coalition government. The govt sources claimed the idea is to give an impression that instead of entering in to war of words with the opposition parties the head of the govt was keen on doing his job at hand. The CM's secretariat is also planning informal media gatherings with the chief minister in the coming days. A dinner meet is scheduled to take place at the state guest house on November 23 after hosting Awami mulakat early in the day.
