| One held, 740 intoxicant capsules recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Nov 21: Continuing its drive Jammu Police today arrested a drug smuggler and recovered 740 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
Police said that Police party headed by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo intercepted an auto bearing registration no. 4251 JK02AG which was on its way from Jewel towards Paloura and arrested one drug peddler and recovered 740 arrested intoxicant capsules. The person has been identified Sanjeev Sharma alias Saju son of Kasturi Lal of Muthi Domana was recovered 740 numbers Pyremol Spas Intoxicant capsules from his possession kept in a plastic polythene bag.
During questioning he disclosed that he is a driver by profession and used to go to Amritsar Punjab on Sundays and bring the consignment of intoxicant capsules from the open Sunday market there to Jammu and sell it further to the innocent drug addicted of Muthi Domana area at exorbitant prices.
He had brought the present consignment also from Amritsar Punjab for a paltry sum of Ruppees 1500/= only.
A case in this regard a FIR No. 183/2011 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation is going on.
