| JKMS EXCELS IN QUIZ COMPETITION | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,21,NOV,
A quiz competition “Bharat ko Jano” was organized by the Talab Tillo branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad today . in the premises of JK Montessorie Sr.Sec. School Tirth Nagar Jammu. The competition was held in two categories viz junior group and the senior group. Teams from different school participated in each group. There were nine rounds of testing the knowledge and understanding about the culture, tradition and heritage of India among our new generation which is virtually cut off from all this. It proved to all so interesting, innovative and purposeful
Pavitar Singh was the chief guest while Prof. Satish Anand was the guest of honour. The president Talab Tillo branch welcomed the guest and the participants while M L Vaid (Secy).
. The winners were awarded the trophies and the certificates by the chief guest. In his address the chief guest praised the noble work of spreading awareness about the great glory and cultural heritage of India among the young. He appreciated the interest and hard work of organizers and the participants. In the end, light refreshment was served to all.
Results: - (senior group) Ist, prize went to JKMontessorie School, 2nd prize went to KNIT & 3rd prize went to DBN respectively.
(Junior group):- Ist prize goes to JKMontessorie School , 2nd Prize goes to DBN & 3rd prize goes to New Ashoka
