JAMMU, Nov 21: The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of Jammu clinched the overall trophy in the inter-college weightlifting championship by securing highest 22 points at the Gymnasium on the campus, here today. The lifters of PG Departments won highest six medals, including three gold, two silver and one bronze in this day long competition. The lifters from Government Degree College Kathua also performed well and bagged two gold and an equal number of bronze medals. Government SPMR College of Commerce and GGM Science College also took a gold each in the competition held for seven weigh categories. The competition was officiated by the penal of experts including BD Khajuria, Dhanraj Singh Salathia and Raj Bakshi.
