| Lal Singh declares open Inter-College Volleyball tourney | | | Kathua, Nov 21: Member Parliament, Ch Lal Singh declared open the Inter-College Volleyball Tournament in an impressive, well attended and colourful function at Government Degree College, Kathua, today.
He was accompanied by J L Sharma, SSP Kathua and Ch Rajinder Singh, former President of Municipal corporation of Kathua.
Dr Netar Singh, College Principal presented the welcome address which was followed by the presentation of colourful cultural items.
In his address, Lal Singh, the Chief Guest on the occasion laid emphasis upon flourishing moral and social values through education.
The first match of the tournament was played between Trikuta College, Jammu and Government Degree College, Udhampur.
