| JKHPMC Officials found absent from duty | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 22: Managing Director, JKHPMC Limited, Syed Rafiq Ahmad during his surprise inspection to Apple Grading and Packing Centre, Chadoora, Zonal Office Pulwama, Apple Grading and Packing Centre, Chowdrigund Shopian and District Office Kulgam found 3 officers/officials absent from duty and placed them under suspension with immediate effect.
The General Manager (Finance) has been advised to conduct enquiry in the matter and submit the report to Managing Director within two weeks. These are Zonal Manager, Pulwama, Mr. S.A. Ashawari, District Incharge Shopian, Mr. Abdul Rashid Bhat and Field Assistant, Shopian, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Malik.
The Managing Director asked the officers to attend their duties in time and also cautioned that the salary of the absentees shall be deducted who fail to attend today’s duty under the principle “No Duty No Pay” and Managing Director said that any official who fail to report to his duties has no right to claim for the day/date he remained away from the duty. He further said that almost all the officials have been conveniently posted in their respective localities.
Meanwhile, the officials against whom enquiry have been initiated/completed for the last 4-5 months shall be posted in Jammu division, Delhi or in Ladakh where the Corporation will soon open its District Offices.
The performance of the officers/officials shall be judged from their weekly, fortnightly and monthly work done statements devised and circulated for each category of posts, the Managing Director added.
The Managing Director was highly satisfied with the presence, performance, maintenance of records, attendance and movement registers at Apple Grading and Packing Centre, Chadoora and at Fruit Mandi, Kulgam by the staffers of JKHPMC.
