Schemes do not happen on ground: G.N.Malik

Jammu, Nov 22: Criticizing the government for neglecting the problems
and burning issues of the rural areas, the general secretary of Kisan
Tehreek, G.N.Malik said that though the State government announces
schemes for providing such facilities, but on the ground, nothing
seems to have been done.
Referring to the villages of Sarbagni, Sujmatna and Suman Hadog in
Ramsu, he said that common people in these areas continue to suffer
from the absence of basic amenities, including ration, LPG, Kerosene,
safe drinking water, the internal roads, irrigation facilities, health
care and education.
In Halqa Sujmatna comprising of 300 souls no ration cards have been
issued to the households who suffer for the want of ration, he added.
Expressing anguish over this sad state of affairs the General
Secretary of Tereek demanded early measures to provide the basic
amenities to these areas, which have been utterly neglected by the
state administration.
