| Corruption charges framed against Ex Registrar BAUSM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 22: Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu today framed corruption charges against Dr Mohan Singh Sethi then Registrar Board of Ayurvedic Unani System of Medicine (BAUSM) J&K from 1997
onward cheated more than 100 Medical Practitioners by issuing
Practitioners certificates, on the blank signed certificate signed by
the then Registrar.
Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu Jaffer Hussain Beigh
after hearing CPO Kulbushan Sharma for the Crime Branch framed charges
against accused Dr. Mohan Singh Sethi the Registrar BAUSM under
section 420, 467, 468, 471, 201 RPC r/w under section 5 (1) (d)
punishable under section 5 (2) of P.C. Act r/w Section 120-B RPC.

framed corruption charges against Dr Mohan Singh Sethi then Registrar
Board of Ayurvedic Unani System of Medicine (BAUSM) J&K from 1997
onward cheated more than 100 Medical Practitioners for issuing
Practitioners certificates, on the blank signed certificate signed by
the then Registrar to commit fraud, for personal gain, fraudulently
and dishonestly issued these certificates as genuine which he knew to
be forged document.
According to Crime Branch Case Mohan Singh Sethi while posted as
Registrar of BAUSM J&K by misusing official position in the year 2000
issued fictitious certificate of Medical Practitioner in favour of
Subash Sharma, Rajinder Kumar and Inderjeet Bal Ram and issued
fictitious renewal certificate to one Sat Pal. (JNF)
