| Symposium on National integration and Communal Harmony held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Nov 22:- Department of Field Publicity organized Symposium on National integration and Communal Harmony at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur today in which a large number of students participated .
Director Field Publicity Obaidur Rehman was the chief Guest on the
occasion who also gave prizes to the winners.
Earlier speaking on the occasion Chief Guest outlined the fact that it
was important to unite for nation building and communal harmony in the
country. He added that the objective of communal harmony could not be
achieved without youth participation and appeal youths to join and
spread the consciousness of National Integration and communal harmony
to all corners of the country.
In the competition organized by department Pooja Thakur of class 9th
was declared first while Sarita Sharma of class 10th and Sunil Kumar
of Class 9th second and third respectively.
Principal Bahrtiya Vidya Mandir High School Renu Sharma speaking on
the occasion said that the thoughts of National integration and
communal harmony should begin at home and then school. She said that
national integration and communal harmony were the need of the hour
and all should join in to strengthen the country. She also thanked
Field Publicity Department for organizing such event in their school.
