| Corruption, a curse for society, says Narotam | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, November 23: Corruption is a huge curse for our Country. There is a need to fight with this evil to save our Country. ‘Right to Information (RTI) Act’ can prove to be one of the weapons to fight this evil of corruption. The afore said statement was given by Narotam Sharma, state convener of Kshitij Foundation – ‘a Non Governmental Organization’, on the occasion inaugural session of seminar on Right To Information (RTI) Act organized by the NGO at Kendiya Vidhyalya (KV-1), Gandhi Nagar on assigned topic ‘Right to Information (RTI) Act and role of youth to fight against corruption ’ . He made the youth aware about RTI act and its utility. According to Sharma most of people especially our youth /student are not aware of the RTI act and further stressed that the same should properly be utilized by each and every citizen in order to erase the injustice and corruption prevailing in our society. In this seminar, students also participated actively in lecture session. The seminar was divided in seniors group and juniors group. Among the seniors group Mimansha gets first position. and Surbhi gets second and third position, respectively. In juniors group Sabiha gets first position and Anisha, Iram gets second and third position, respectively.
