HC directs respondents for release of arrears of pay of petitioners | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 23: J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to the State of J&K through commissioner/secretary RDD, Director RDD Jammu, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar and Block Development Officer Padder and further directed the respondents to consider the case of petitioners for released of arrears of pay and other outstanding. Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Meenakshi Salathia appearing for the petitioners suspended in the alleged theft of solar lights, issued notice to the State of J&K through commissioner/secretary RDD, Director RDD Jammu, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar and Block Development Officer Padder returnable within four weeks and further directed the respondents to consider the case of petitioners for released of arrears of pay and other outstanding dues within notice period. The respondents revoked the suspension order of petitioners on August 17, 2010 but no salary and other benefits of service were not paid to the petitioners and seeking direction to the respondents to declare the suspension period of the petitioners as on duty and released the arrears of pay and other dues. Pertinent to mention petitioners namely Namgali Durjay and Tenzen Teshi employees of RDD Tehsil Padder have been suspended in the alleged theft of solar lights in the dept and case was also registered by the Police but after three years police could not traced the culprits.
