| Bail plea of narcotic smuggler denied | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 23: 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu today has rejected the bail application of an accused allegedly involved in smuggling 2 KG Heroine which was recovered from his and a case u/s 8/22/23 NDPS Act stands registered ion the reagrd.
2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Subash C Gupta after hearing APP KA Qazi for the State observed that Drug peddlers & Narco Smuggler have spread their tentacles in whole of the country and are spoiling the life of the young generation.
“It is being seen that the young people are being subjected to addictions by these Drug Peddlers, while they are in their teens. Offences under NDPS Act have alarming effect on the society at large as its vitalities are being eaten by the persons who are involved in carrying out the activities of supplying drugs to the younger generations,” court observed and with these observations Court denied the bail.
