JJM condemns police action on peaceful protestors

Jammu Nov 23: Jan Jagriti Manch (JJM) has condemned the police action against the protest rally against the New Recruitment Policy called in response to the call of JJM which was joined in by the students and citizens of Jammu at Satwari Chowk today.
JJM spokesperson said that protestors were peacefully raising slogans demanding the cancellation of the anti-youth policy. Without any provocation at all, the police forcefully foiled their bid of protest in which six activists of JJM were injured. Three activists of JJM namely Maninder Singh, Ginny and Talib Hussain were picked up by the police.
Praveen, the state president of JJM stated, “the police action against peaceful protest is condemnable.” Another member of JJM, Serohi Nandan appealed to the police also, “The police personnel are like our own parents, brothers and sisters- they will also suffer because of this policy.
The JJM reiterated its commitment to fight uncompromisingly against these anti-people policies.
