Soz takes up regularization of Centaur Hotel with Union Minister | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu/New Delhi Nov 23: Prof. Saifuddin Soz, MP (Former Union Minister) and President of J&K PCC, met Vayalar Ravi Minister Civil Aviation last night and discussed different issues related to people with the Minister of Civil Aviation. A press statement issued from New Delhi Office stated the duo discussed various issues threadbare and union minister assured him that he would give proper consideration to these problems and solution would be sought, as early as possible. During the meeting on the issues raised would be organised in the following manner included Regularisation of employees of the Centaur lake view Hotel Srinagar, Resumption of Srinagar- Dubai flight and evening flights to & fro to Srinagar. Referring to the issue of regularization of Centaur Hotel Kashmir, the Minister realized that it was a genuine problem and the employees deserve a fair treatment. “In this connection, the Minister gave orders to place this matter before the Air India Board within a week’s time for final decision, he said. The Minister further decided to explore the possiblily of resuming the flight and also explore the possibility of extension of Srinagar–Dubai flight to Jeddah to make it advantageous for the Ministry. The statement said that the Minister appreciated the argument of Prof Soz that the flight’s extension to Jeddah would make the flight lucrative as quite a sizable member of passengers would be travelling on this route for Umrah, throughout the year. Rohit Nandan Chairman & Managing Director Air India was also associated with the discussions.
