| NSF to hold black badge protest during President's visit | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 23: The National Secular Forum (NSF) has urged the President of India Pratibha Devi Singh Patil to take the cognizance of the appointment of corrupt official in Central University of Jammu. It also has decided to hold black flag protest on President’s visit to the show protest.
Addressing a press conference, NSF President Vikas Sharma said Dr PS Pathania has been on deputation to the Central University of Jammu as OSD Administration and everyone knows that Dr Pathania is a corrupt official and several cases of irregularity are pending against his name. “The Vice Chancellor Dr S S Baloria should have checked his credentials before taking him on deputation, he added.
Sharma added that there is every possibility of Pathania exploiting the official position in Central University because he is habitually a corrupt person. He urged the President to take the cognizance of matter and direct the Vice Chancellor to immediately remove from the position. He also said that ion this regard the federation would stage a black flag protest on her visit as NSF has been demanding this for the last one month but no one listens.
