| Mushtaq Kak awarded | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 23: Mushtaq Kak, renowned theatrist and film actor from Jammu and Kashmir has been awarded for his outstanding contributions towards development of performing arts in India by a reputed national organization at North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC) Allahabad Auditorium.
He was felicitated by Justice (Rtd HC Judge) Palok Basu in a function. The event was largely attended by renowned personalities related to art, culture and languages and was organized by famous group of India – Abhinav Allahabad.
The outstanding achievement award was also conferred upon Rajindra Panchal, a famous theatre artist and an NSD pass out.
Mushtaq Kak has so far contributed 200 plays as director and he has also been awarded for a number of plays directed by him by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Cultural and Languages. He has also contributed 32 full length plays for prestigious Shree Ram Centre of Performing Arts, New Delhi where he remained Director for 10 consecutive years.
