| Lawyers to analyze CD of Nagar's interrogation | | |

Jammu, Nov 23: The lawyers fraternity is going to analyze the content of the Compact Disc content of Nagar's interrogation, sources said.
Meanwhile, B.S Salathia, president of Bar Association Jammu said that there is a requisition made by some Bar members with respect to the derogatory remarks against lawyers in the CD of Nagar Singh's interrogation, but the Bar Association is yet to see the said CD and analyze its contents.
Sources said that the requisition is made by around 300 lawyers after derogatory remarks were made against lawyers' fraternity by the officers interrogating Nagar Singh inside Gandhi Nagar police station.
Sources further added the CD is expected to be analyze in a general house meeting of the bar which is being convened to discuss the issue with respect to provision for diversion of Lawyers' quota in direct recruitment to the posts of district and sessions judges.
However, no comment was made available from the police side regarding the probe initiated by DGP Kuldeep Khoda on the derogatory remarks used by interrogating police officers against politicians, senior police officer and lawyer during interrogation of Nagar. |
