| Rtd CJ Bilal Nazki asks 5 questions to clear haze over NC worker's death | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 23: Justice (retired) Bilal Nazki has framed five vital questions which must be answered if the record is intended to be set straight with regard to the mysterious death of the NC worker and high profile Haji Yusuf in police custody on 30th September.
These questions are also crucial to the course of investigations believed to be underway in the case of fraud and criminal breach of trust against the deceased.
Justice (retire) Bilal Nazki has recently posted on the Internet, "Three people close to the State Chief Minister who also happens to be the home minister and the NC supremo are summoned through minister of state home to chief Minister's residence on 29th September 2011.They met the Chief Minister and it is established that one of them had received more then a crore of Rupees from the other two. One of them wanted to be a legislator and Minister and the other a legislator. The money according to the deceased was to be paid to Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
The man who admitted having received money died within 24 hours of his admission before the CM in police custody. He had been handed over to the waiting inspector general of police by the CM.
Very trusted personal security officers of CM were transferred the same night.
The facts above mentioned by me are based on Chief Minister's statements and I am not purposely referring to various statements made by others. Legally speaking these are admitted facts. These facts raise many questions which have to be answered.
1. Whether the deceased had received money for himself or for somebody else. If it was for someone else who is he?
2. If a complaint had been made to the CM two months before, why did he sleep over the matter?
3. Why did the home minister behave like a head constable and the chief minister like a sub inspector?
4 Under what law did the CM order the arrest of the deceased?
5. Under what law did the inspector general crime arrest and detain the deceased?
Will the CM, the HM or the inspector general show the courage to answer these questions? |
