| Public darbar held at Pogal, Ramsoo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: Shabir Ahmad, KAS, District Development Commissioner, Ramban held Public Darbar at Pogal and Ramsoo.
A large number of public from Pogal and Ramsoo besides various adjoining villages attended the darbar at Pogal and Ramsoo respectively. At Pogal the darbar was conducted at 11:00 AM and at Ramsoo at 3.00 PM. Deputy Commissioner was accompanied with by all Sectoral Officers of different departments including ADC Ramban, ACR Ramban, CMO Ramban, CHO Ramban, Chief Agriculture Officer Ramban, Chief Animal Husbandary Officer Ramban.
The public raised various issues/problems like connectivity of Road, provision of electric connection, improvement of drinking water supply, provision of staff and infrastructure in schools, upgradation of High School Pogal , provision of foot bridges over different Nallahs in the areas.
District Dev. Commissioner, Ramban gave a keen hearing to the demands and issues raised by the public and assured that every possible effort shall be made to resolve the issues in a phased manner but this process requires a coordinated and positive approach of the public as well.
He also resolved some issues on-spot and directed all the sectoral officers present in the meeting to work with zeal, dedication and sincerity, so that the benefits of the schemes/ works percolate down to the public.
Public was also given detailed awareness about the provisions of J&K RTI Act and J&K Public Service Guarantee Act. While speaking, Deputy Commissioner Ramban also advised the public to cooperate the District Administration enabling different departments who serve them in an efficient manner.
