Over Rs 1.51 cr goods traded by J&K, POK businessmen | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT POONCH, Nov 24: The cross-LoC businessmen today traded goods worth over Rs 1.51 crores at the Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district, officials said. As many as 20 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) today, they said, adding that these trucks carried bags of coconut, onion, cabbage, tomato and chilli worth Rs 83,10,804. From POK, 6 trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, herbs and peshawari sandals worth Rs 68,14,706 crossed over to this side. The officials from both the sides monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1230 hrs to 1300 hrs and 1600 hrs to 1630 hrs respectively, they said.
