| Lecturers forum discusses problems with BOSE authorities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: A delegation of 10+2 Lecturers’ Forum under the leadership of N S Jamwal working President of all J&K 10+2 Lecturer Forum met the chairman and Secretary of State Board of School Education (BOSE) Jammu and discussed various issues with him.
During the interaction the delegation took up various issues pertaining to the problems faced by the 10+2 community and took up issues enhancement of remunerative rates for conduct, inspection and evaluation of answer scripts and practical exams for Science and Computer subjects as the state board has switched over to one subject system for 10+2 class w.e.f. Nov/Dec 2011 in Kashmir Valley/ Winter Zone and Mar/April 2012 in Jammu province.
They also discussed the issue of delay in payment of bills for various assignments unnecessarily for months together in the accounts section causes resentment. Members of the delegation lodged a strong protest in this regard and suggested that a time frame be fixed by giving instructions to the accounts department in the board.
The delegation also impressed upon the board authorities to take into confidence the office bearers of Lecturers’ Forum at district level too and while appointing supervisory staff for various board assignments.
