| NSF Stages protest against JU authorities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: Activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held protest demonstration in the campus and also burnt the effigy of Central University Vice-Chancellor.
NSF activists throughout the state were holding black badges to protest against the President’s visit to city of temple and also to show there resentment against delay in coming up with demands of NSF which has not met so far.
Led by Vikas Sharma, NSF State President said Dr PS Pathania has been on deputation to the Central University of Jammu as OSD Administration. “The Vice Chancellor Dr S S Baloria should have checked his credentials before taking him on deputation, he said further adding, “but, he didn't bother to do that as a consequence, the NSF has launched stir against the removal of Dr Pathania from the University.”
He urged the President to take the cognizance of matter and direct the Vice Chancellor to immediately remove from the position.
He also said Vice-Chancellor for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter.
He said that NSF will continue its struggle for the social cause and appealed the people of the state to come forward and exposed the corrupt.
Among those who were present in the Protest included, Sukdev Singh, Kamaldeep Singh Balveer Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Mohd. Qayoom Malik, Layaqat Ali Khan, Mohd. Zamir, Muzaffar Iqbal, Irfan Ahmed, Irshad, Zaheer, Washim, Zulfkar, Shri Ram and others.
