| Judo: Shikha bags gold in National School Games | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: Representing the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) in the recently held 57th National School Games in Judo, the budding judoka Shikha Bhau clinched a gold medal at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh recently.
Contested in above 44 kg weight category, Shikha registered an outright win against a Karnataka judoka in the final bout through knock out point.
Meanwhile, the gold winner Shikha, along with her coaches and manager called on the Director DYSS, Jai Pal Singh. The director patted young judoka and appreciated the efforts of the team management.
Among others present were Joint Director, Madan Lal, Deputy Director, Ashok Kumar, incharge coaches, Anita Kumari and Varinder Sharma.
