The Bal Divas was organized in the first week of the month and it was attended by 1500 children from Salotri , Nambal, Kistri, Bar Balnoi, Tara, Dharati, Ghani, Jhalas and Dara Dullian besides, many village elders and VDC members.
The local Army troops under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade arranged for transport facilities for conveyance of the children to attend the grand function. Brig Gurdeep Singh, the Krishna Ghati Garrison Commander while addressing the gathering reiterated his commitments for overall upliftment of these remote villages.
The local populace of the region were indebted to the Army towards development of Krishna Ghati region, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
